1. Summary

This website sets no cookies at all – neither its own nor third-party ones. There is no reach measurement, no tracking and no advertising. The only thing stored is your display settings, and they stay in your browser.

2. What is stored in your browser

• kugt-theme – whether you view the site in light or dark mode
• kugt-high-contrast – whether increased contrast is switched on
• kugt-website-lang – your language choice (German or English)

These entries are held in your browser’s local storage, are never transmitted to us and are not linked to any person. They are required for the site to work as you requested it, which is why they are exempt from consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. No analytics, no tracking

No analytics service is loaded on this website – neither Google Analytics nor any alternative. Accordingly there is no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to. If reach measurement is introduced in the future, it will only run after explicit consent, and this policy will be updated beforehand.

4. Deleting stored entries

You can delete the entries listed above at any time via your browser’s website settings. The site will then simply start again with its default appearance. If you visited this site earlier, an entry named kugt-website-consent from the former cookie banner may still exist; it no longer has any function and can be deleted the same way.

5. Other services

No marketing or social media services are embedded. In the KuGT app, the food and barcode search transmits only the search term or the barcode number to Open Food Facts – no cookies are set in the process. Details can be found in the privacy policy.
