Who this is for
For anyone who is short right now. Unemployment, benefits, a pension, an apprenticeship, studying, illness, parental leave, debt, a month with two bills too many — or a reason that appears in none of these lists. I don’t sort them. If you’re reading this page and thinking it might mean you, then it means you.
What you don’t have to do
- No proof. No letter, no certificate, no bank statement.
- No explanation. If you want to tell me how you’re doing, I’ll read it — but it changes nothing about my answer.
- Nothing to document, nothing to promise. I don’t check anything and I won’t ask back.
- No need to justify yourself. You owe me no account of your life.
What happens next
I’ll reply by email. Usually within a few days — I do this on my own, so sometimes it takes longer.
The reply contains your code and the link to redeem it.
You can also redeem it by hand: open the App Store, tap your profile picture at the top right, then “Redeem Gift Card or Code”.
After that Plus is unlocked for good. No subscription, no term, nothing will ever be charged.
What happens to your message
It goes to my mailbox and nowhere else. I keep no list, no statistics, and pass nothing on. Once you have your code and the matter is settled, I delete the message — after three months at the latest. If you told me how you’re doing, that applies all the more.
Why this exists
Because an app that helps with eating would be hardest to get exactly when money is tight. That’s the wrong way round. And because it costs me nothing: software doesn’t run out when one more person uses it. What you don’t pay isn’t missing from anyone.
What I can’t promise
The codes come from Apple and are limited in number. If there are none left at the moment, I’ll tell you honestly and come back to you as soon as there are. They also carry an expiry date — if yours no longer works, just write again and you’ll get a new one.
